Talk about prefect timing.
We waited until the end of what was probably the worst season in A&T football history before we decided to re-launch the fan site that’s fast becoming the most powerful in all of college sports.
2006 was definitely a trying time for even the most faithful of Aggie fans, where the losing was contagious, the frustration was wide-spread and the home crowds were increasingly sparse. Yet, the only thing more painful than watching your alma mater get pummeled each week by at least two touchdowns was not having in-depth coverage and expert analysis to help you figure out just what’s going wrong.

Valley upgrade: out with old, in with the new |
Because of some major developments in both my personal and professional life (new marriage, career changes, etc.), I was unable to devote the time it took to maintain this site, causing it to go off-line for nearly a full year. But that’s not to say that my passion for A&T football nor my pride for our beloved university ever waned one bit.
It was during that period of inactivity that I got a important “wake-up call” when a new A&T football fan site popped up out of nowhere right after last year’s Spring Game. Even though that site didn’t generate a lot of initial buzz and likely is no longer even in existence, it showed me firsthand that Aggie fans are hungry for information and if they can’t get it from you, they’ll look for it somewhere else.
Fortunately, even though our main page was displaying an error message for several months, bluedeathvalley.com was still able to serve as a depot for football-related dialogue thanks to our popular message board. Because of the tireless efforts of our resident football guru Craig Turner, who kept knocking out insightful columns each week, and you, our loyal readers, who kept posting new threads and engaging in lively discussions, bluedeathvalley.com continued to stay relevant and didn’t just fade away into oblivion.
And now, it's with sincere appreciation for your undying support and patience that I’m happy to welcome you back home the No. 1 source for A&T football news- this time sporting a brand new look.
Glance around and you’ll notice new links, redesigned graphics and a revamped page layout. Take a moment to cast a vote on our latest fan poll and then join the discussion on our message board where you can debate hot topics with other rabid fans. Also check out our new multi-media section were you can listen to audio files and watch highlight videos. Soon, you’ll even be able to celebrate the long-awaited grand opening of our online store and get your chance purchase limited edition bluedeathgear and other merchandise.
Now more than ever, A&T fans need to come together and stand united in their support for the blue and gold. Bluedeathvalley.com is proud to once again be the place to do just that.
